    Check Your Connections/Clamps

Ok group, it's time to check your connections/clamps. Found some loose today. Radiator, hoses, gas lines, lug nuts, anything you can tighten, tighten it.

Another thing to check is your fire extinguisher. You do have one or 2, don't you? The powder in the dry extinguishers gets packed in the bottom from sitting in the Jeep for years.

We recently had a Jeep flop on it's side. Fluid ran out of the trans dipstick and onto the headers, where it caught fire. First guy there took his extinguisher and although it said "FULL", it shot nothing but air. He threw it aside and grabbed a second, which worked, and put out the fire. When he picked up the first one and pulled the trigger again, it worked.

Since then, I take my extinguishers out about twice a year, turn them upside down, and bang on them with a rubber hammer. Cheap insurance that it works when you need it.

It usually gets lower on one side first. If it runs out, it will take three turns instead of one to get around that corner.
