TBI on adapter plate on manifold

    Hey all,

So I went with an AFI tbi kit. So far everything looks good but the adapter plate bores are a bit big on my Performer intake manifold. There is no butterfly interference, but is a pretty standard setup or just a cheap adapter plate?

    Here is a pic:

The Howell plate was the same way. A little work with a die grinder fixed it. If the manifold is on, stuff it with rags, and use a shop vac to catch the particles.

Good thought but there is not enough material. I would be down to 1/8th inch wide gasket

more than enough to seal the carb on. Just blend it in and use some rtv between the plate and manifold
