    dana 44 in CJ5

I've cut down a dana 44 from a 78 cherokee for my CJ5. I'll be using the knuckles, tie rods and drag link that came with the 44 as well. The thing is, it looks like I'm going to need a shorter pitman arm to clear the streering linkage. Anyone have any ideas what pitman arm could be swaped onto a CJ power steering box that is aboout 1" shorter than the stock CJ arm?

The PS box is GM/Saginaw, so the best bet is to just head to the boneyard with a tape measure and start hitting older GM cars and trucks.

When I did the 44 in the front of my CJ, I got a really heavy duty pitman from Tri-County Gear for around $100. It is a little shorter than stock. I run SOA with the front axle moved about 1.5" forward and high steer.
