    TJ v-8 mounts

Does Bulltear (or anyone else) offer motor mounts to put an AMC 401 in a '98 TJ that originally had an in-line 6? I'm transplanting my 401-t400-d20 from my cj into it after I swap out the axles to a d44/9".

I've read about other similar swaps, but don't know if there is a 'kit' or they just fabbed the mounts themselves. It's not really that hard if you have the time and a welder.

Ask shawnsc25 here on the board, he's got a 401 in his YJ.

I've already considered making my own mounts but thought I'd try the "easy" way first! I'll PM shawnsc25 on it. Thanks!

I'm not sure what's different between the YJ and TJ frames. M.O.R.E. makes V-8 mounts for the YJ. I run a set of their "bombproof" mounts in my CJ (they really are).

You might call them to find out. http://www.mountainoffroad.com/

I tried looking until my eyes bled.
The only thing I could do is belly up to the welder and go for it..

The CJ was a little rough, so everything is going into the LJ (401, 727, D300 with 4:1, D60's and 40's)
4 link front and rear with coilovers. I will definitely be broken mentally and monitarily.
