When you prime the pump with a drill, pull the fuel pump (or block off plate) and look at the cam/distributor gears. Lots of oil should be flowing through them. If not, it's getting blocked somewhere. Do you know what to look for on the cam timing chain gear, fuel pump eccentric, and cam distributor drive gear?
Also, AFAIK the anti-walk kit is unnecessary unless you have a roller cam. A .600" lift solid flat tappet cam isn't a roller cam.
