Finally decided the direction of my 401 build

Well after milling it over and over again I have decided to build my 401 around this!

Well I am not sure yet on the power but this supercharger puts out 8 to 15 psi so that is not to extream. But it will get with it fast. I need to get some more info before I quote numbers. I will post numbers when I get more things figgured out.

5-600 should be reasonable if you figure 15psi could theoretically double your engines air intake and power

That's what I was figuring it would be close to. The biger question that I have yet to ask is will the rods hold, and wich heads I should use. I figgure that MC, or blown7 would know best. But any input from anyone is always helpful.

I think I remember someone saying that the stock 401 rods were good to 500 but I cant remember who said that. For making power you probably want a good set of aluminum heads and a good set of valves.

That's to funny Bob, I thought the same thing before I bought it. The only difficult thing is I have to fab brackets for the head unit, or have them made. Eather way it should be a blast!
