    No serial port???

    hi there i'm new to this and have purchased a 4x8 gantry kit and had it shipped to Australia. I have run in to some small problems one being my computer has a parallel port but no serial port so i'm wondering if i can use a usb to db9 adaptor?

    You should only nee one parallel port (DB25) for operation. Their are 2 DB9 ports on the boxes. One hooks to a remote pendant (You can use a xbox 360 controller for that (USB PC)) and the other hooks to your DTHC card.
