    MC--Poll

MC polled: Would you be seriously interested in a stroker 4340 AMC crankshaft?"

MC, What was the outcome of that poll taken I believe in 06?

    Did that ever materialize?

How far out are we talking?
Lastly, How much do I need to start putting away per month in-order to get ones of these bad boys?

    Cool

Do you still have plans for the 4340 cranks? I'd love to have a 4340 crank with a 3.68" stroke, basically with stock size main journals (2.747") with the smaller V-8 (290-360) journal size (2.09")...

I'm thinking 4.110 x 4.110 x .7853982 x 3.68 x 8 = 390.58 CID.... Man... Forged 11:1 pistons (Domed), Forged H-Beam Rods, 4340 crank with a 3.68" stroke, Aluminum 58-60cc Heads that flow 210 intake, 160 exhaust @ .600" lift, Hyd. roller cam, roller rockers, Dual Plain tall rise intake, BG 750 mighty demon, 1 3/4" headers, followed by a true dual "X" pipe exhaust, and of course the bulltear oiling goodies... MAN, that would be one hell of a BEAST!!!

Gotcha... is that something that you are looking into ie: 3.68" stroke... 2.747" MJ's and 2.09" RJ's?

Hope you're not pulling my leg because if this is a good possibility (on the better half of good) I will slowly start getting my ducks in-order and then wait for the crank as desribed above. Man, if you could make that happen that would be SICK!!!
I wonder how many "360's" would be stroked out to a 390? 360 bored .030 still gives a lot of room for play... Muhahahaha
I can see/hear it now... "Whatcha Got under the Hood? That thing Sounds Sick!" Reply: "Stroked out 360 pushing 500+ hp with over 500+ ft-lbs of torque"... hahaha how sweet would that be!???!

Hell, Pee in both... if you want one to have more than the other then dump some in the other. ;)
I'd love to have an AMC 360 stroked and bored to a 390 or 396 with forged everything, aluminum heads etc... It would be the little brother of the 496 stroker... muhahahaha
