    Don's repair shop that offered a kit to replace shift rails, twin stick, rebuild kits and guarantee that the dana 20 would not pop out of gear is retiring and looking for some one to pick up his buisness. I talked to Matt @ Bulltear for a moment today, but we could not get on Don's old website.

    I don't know the whole scope of his operation, but he seems very knowledgable.

    I think you guy's are set up to fill this niche in the market and should look into his product. He has been around for quite a while and would like to see his products continue. Don's R/S is @ 1-704-279-4697.

    I bought one of his twin stix shifters several months ago and at the present am installing it in my D-20 transfer case. I am quite impressed with the exceptional quality of his product and material. That was the first thing that became evident to me. I too would like to see his product go on.

    Hey guy's I just thought I would update my post on this thread. I just finished installing my Dana 20 twin stix shifter. I have included several pictures of Don's twin stix shifter that you have been talking about.

    While I was at it I put in a master rebuild kit and installed my Advance Adapters Dana 20 to TH 400 trans adapter. I will have to say that the instructions supplied by Advance Adapters fell woefully short on instructions. They completely missed several steps which left 3 items to install in my hands without a clue. Also, I caught a misdirected instruction that only made the install harder than it had to be. I called their teck line and the salesman-teck that I talked to was very short on knowledge of their product and was belligerent and defensive. I finally had to go over his head to get my answers and then only very defensively. I guess they did not want their short comings brought to light. I finally told them that next time I would try Novac. Here's the pic's:

    Thanks for the pics. Hope to post some of my own in the near future. Hope the guys at Bulltear pick up on this opertunity. Unfortunately, I was not able to give them very much info, but hope they will call Don who seems like a very nice and knowledgable person who has been very responsive to my questions.

    I will be having a shop in Phoenix do a rebuild on my Ford t18 and instal a Low kit in my D20. My adapter plate is from Novak and has served me well. There Low kit includes a hardend inter mediate shaft. After the rebuild everything will get painted. Thinking of using an epoxy paint.

    I tapped out the breather vent holes to instal fittings and extend the vent lines to the engine compartment.

    Sure like the looks of those twin sticks. I still need to get knobs and boots.

    Looks good you need to place the [ in front of the IMG so the other pic will show.

    P.S. Here is my homemade TS

    Mock up of twin stick (maybe could use one more washer but I have to think about it), I tried the bushing as per the write up on this forum but it seemed to go easier w/washers. I also used the old pins for the shift rails as the others were short calling for a 3/4" (really needs to be about 1 1/4"-1 1/2"Max by the time you get the washer/loc-washer/nut on etc.) I will not bend the shifter itself until the tub is on & I see where I want it. I did have to open the hole where the pins go on the flat-stock as they were tight. If you used the flat-stock dimensions (I recommend you do) you will need a Dremel to fine tune it but you will be happy with the results.
