    What's Your Choice In Pistols

I've been itching for a long time now... I finally decided to go and get a cure, H&K USP Tactical 45 ACP. I wanted the H&K Mark 23 but, $2000 was out of my price range. The Tactical was priced more in my range. After all said and done, I got it for $1,276.99... came with a case, cleaning kit, 2 twelve rd clips and a couple other items. The SIG P226 TacOps 40 S&W was a tight second... if the sig would've had a threaded barrel I'd probably own the sig.

If you had to pick between the two which one would you pick?
If neither, what pistol would you buy and why?

Both nice, but I'd go with the SIG. I have a P239 in .40, and I love it.

Good stuff... I read that some sigs don't have a uniformed hardness.
In your opinion, what are the pro's and con's of each? (H&K vs Sig).

I like my Colt Combat Commander in .45 ACP. Unfortunately its getting a little sloppy so it might be time for some smith work to fit a match slide and barrel to it

Please tell me that you have pictures and that you can post them...
My old man is all about Black powder revolvers and rifles... He has a nice looking revolver, I'm not too sure what caliber but it has nice a blued octagon barrel, detailed design on the handle. I'll have to ask him about it tonight when I talk to him.

I rebuild my .45 after 10-12K rounds for competition - I'm on my 4th rebuild of my ball gun and 3rd on the wad gun

My carry gun is a Browning HiPower in 9mm but am looking for something lighter myself. I like the steel, but think the composit handguns will suffice for a carry gun. Looking at the Glocks and Sigs. Quality is rebuildable, cheap is trash.

What's your view on the Sig P226?
