    Front cover identification

I am sure this has already been brought up and beat to death but I haven't found it...

I picked up a 70 390 and I am trying to figure out what front cover is on it. It's just getting broke in (75 miles or so) and I am not having any problems but concerned. Any way to tell if it is factory, crown, Bulltear (hopefully). If crown how to identify good or bad or if it is working it is good?

    THanks

I would think as long as everything lined up well (dizzy dropped in and is at the right height and gears arent eating the adapter plate) and if your pressure is good I wouldnt worry about it.

Distibutor dropped in and have correct end play. Gear looks ok. In process of installing oil pressure gaue so I will keep an eye on it. I think as funds become availabel I will go with the Bulltear ultimate setup. THanks!
