    HEY GUY's - Been a while

Just stopping in to say hello and looking for an engine block heater for the 360V8 that fits in the freeze plug area. 12* here yesterday and will be in the single digits soon. Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

    Thanks,
    Jim

Yep, it is very different out West, but I like it. I'm currently searching for a engine block heater for the AMC-258 & the AMC 360 but can't seem to find one that fits into the freeze plug area etc. In the teens/single digits sometimes as you well know of and going to the store/out, the block doesn't heat up until we get home, burrrrrr.

Anyway, yes it is nice out West, no humidity and the static is unbearable when you go to touch metal when it's cold, I usually use a car key and you can see the arch. At Wal-Mart's frozen section is the worst and I usually zap Peach at the check out, hahaha.

Good to hear from you all again.

Good to see you're still among the living Jim. Whatcha doing in Nevada - other than 4wheeling your butt off? HAHAhahahahaha
Sorry don't have a source for block heaters. JC Whitney is showing a couple oil pan heaters though ...

And Titan offers some size/capacity options:

I started a new thread on the subject, I still want to call NAPA, from what I have been reading, a lot of people have been ordering them from there if not the Jeep dealer/OEM.

Being out West Pat is great, very nice and a different world.

Preaching as well and we stayed.

Now to go to NAPA tomorrow and see if they carry one for a Jeep/freeze plug size etc.

I just replaced the rusted out one in my 360 a little over a month ago, got it from Carquest, I don't have the number handy though.

Thanks, I'll check it out but I found these at the link above.

    Question, do they work well?

Yep they work fine, I usually don't use mine until it gets close to 0, unless I have heavy oil in it.
