    mouse wont work when firing

i was running a thermal dynamics 39 cutter and upgraded to the esab 875 i wired up the card the same as before and now im having cutting issues and as soon as it fires my mouse wont work

when i get it cutting my tip volts are only at 55-57 my old machine was at 90 i would think it needs to be higher

Your getting hi-frequency noise grounding through the PC I am willing to bet. Which ESAB unit was it? Is it high frequency?

If its a wireless mouse their is no fix for that. Proper grounding is required to run a hi-frequency unit but this wont help with a wireless mouse. Luckily the electronics we use are completely isolated and great care is made to ensure they do not get damaged from hi freq. Have you tried using a Xbox 360 controller to start/stop and jog?

You will have to move the PC further away from the plasma. Like 10 feet at least.

Call Esab to see if that unit is capatable. You may not be getting true arc voltage only divide volts.
