    Ford/Motorcraft Dizzy Compatibility AMC V8?

Looking at a ford unit that has been converted to electronic guts and was wondering how much if any different ford changed their distributors from '69-'70 mustang 302's to the later 70's motorcraft as far as shaft dimensions etc.. To clear it up this is the info on the distributor and basically am wondering if with a gear change it can be fitted to my 76 360?

**That is not the one that has been converted to avoid confusion, just the same body.

    Thanks- JR

NOPE. Won't even come close. AMC uses a unique distributor. AMC did use a Motorcraft distributor and control box from about 1979-up, but it was still in a housing unique to AMC.
