Post New PC, now fault on Gecko G540

Okay guys so my PC went down about a month ago and I finally got around to getting a new PC, got the PC setup and the software installed again, everythign configured as Ihad it before and now I have a red fault light on my Gecko G540 drive on the back of the Bulltear box. Question is how do I find out what the fault actually is caused by?

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Dave

Dave did you press the green button on the front of the box? That is Estop on the silver controllers.

Yes, that was the problem with the fault condition, I must have accidentally pressed it when I was moving this stuff around.

Now I have another issue - Can't get the motors to move and the torch fires by itself every 5 seconds for the first minute or so of logging in to my computer, I followed the troublshooting procedure in the LCTHC manual and tried changing the Hex address in Mach 3 for the DB25 PCI card that is installed in the new PC but that didnt do anything. Tried re-installign the MAch 3 software, nothing there either. Any ideas?

Go to our "plasma setup" topic forum with your password it will show all the info you need. You will need a G540 XLM file for setup or a LCTHC if your using a LCTHC. If you do not have one there is one available at www.Candcnc.com under manuals and downloads. If you need to please call in we can get you up and running in minutes if your in front of your PC.
