    Oil cooler question

Do I need a separate oil cooler or can I use the transmission oil cooler that is built into my radiator?

You will need a smaller cooler and do not run 100% of your oil through the cooler

How do I keep 100% of the oil from going through the cooler?

Definitely use a separate cooler. At operating temp, the water in your radiator will be 180+ degrees. Outside air will be no more than 100 on a hot day. That alone is an 80 degree potential difference in cooling.
