    CJ 7

    I am also partial to FSJ's having 4 of them as you know Mr. Taz but anything with an AMC V8 is fair game. Going to start on the AMX project soon.

    CJ 7 Project

    This is the one with the 401 and Clark 285VO 5 speed transmission. First gear in the trans is like 8 to 1, and with the Dana 300 and 4.10's granny low is too low. I think the trans is overkill and might end up putting the T-18 and Dana 300 in. It shifts hard and is very klunky but at the same time it is unbreakable as is the rest of the drivelne with Dana 60 and good axles and joints

    I'm liking that alot, I Love Black.........
    1979 Jeep CJ-7 401 AMC, GMC 6-71 Blower 10% overdrive, Bugcatcher with electronic fuel injection and a little N2O for fun, all self built. (this supercharger stuff is easy)
