Serpentine belt system.... where does the AC bracket attach

My son and I are both novices doing a father son project, it's our first restoration and we are learning as we go.

It is a restoration of an 85 cj7, we are replacing the 258 with an amc 360. The engine did not come with any of the original accessories, just block, heads, and crank. Therefore we are replacing all of the components with pictures or diagrams.

We ordered the serpentine belt system and are in the process of installing it, but can't seem to find where the ac bracket (we ordered the bracket from JEEP air in Ocala) attaches to the block or the alternator bracket

Also is this the correct position of the alternator pulley.
    thanks in advance

I am doing the exact same setup as you were. Did you ever get any answers to your question? Do you have any photos showing how you assembled it?

    Thanks

And you wont with your set up. That black bracket is a SANDEN compressor adaptor for a factory YORK mount. You need to source the factory York mount to make it work. The York mount was in production from 67-86 so there are LOTS and LOTS of them.

Actually that looks like a reproduction of the York mount. Bolts to both head and block.
