Try turning the power off on the controller and on again and then open your Mach 3. Did you change anything on the PC lately?

I haven't changed anything I had a breaker trip while I was cutting and lost the computer, the table, and the compressor at the same time. that's when the z control started acting up. I have cycled the computer and the controller many times to no avail. when the green lite on the controller comes on I can hear the table click and when I start mack3 and it recognizes the controller the table also clicks again. Would the cnc plasma setup instructions on your site help me make sure all settings are as they should be? I don't know if you remember me but I came up from medford wisconsin and picked up a 4x4 table and you showed me that the table could cut a test piece out and loaded the table on my truck and that was the extent of my cnc plasma introduction. I don't really understand all the settings in mach3 or how it interfaces with the controller. I don't have an instruction manual or a schematic to trace things out. Or can I hook up a Ethernet hard wire to my computer and you some one could check it out on the internet. I dont know what to do. Thanks Gary

You may have some damage Gary. Was the breaker tripped during a storm? It may be an electrical spike. Never the less what I would do is buy some new CAT 5 cables. 25 foot yellow, green and blue.

    Here is a link
    https://www.amazon.com/Mediabridge-C...s=rj45+25+foot

    https://www.amazon.com/Belkin-A3L980...+25+foot+green

I do not know the extent of your training but we do train very well these days. You can come in for a scheduled re-train if you want.

No it wasn't a storm I got a new compressor and was making a long cut and a 60 amp breaker tripped. As far the cat5 cables i just checked them all good. about a year ago I installed POE security cameras that use cat5 cable so I had to make up my own ends and I needed to purchase a cctv tester so I could check my pin to pin connections and cable to be good. So as I said earlier I just checked the cat5 cables to all be good. What about the password for the cnc plasma setup instructions? Thanks Gary

When I was checking the cables out I noticed I do not have a power light lit on the cand cnc rs485 4 port hub. The light is on power supply for the hub but no power light on the hub. Could this be the problem? Thanks Gary
