I use the Centreforce dual friction set up for the clutch. As for everything else i did have problems with the throwout bearing wearing out to much. What i did was replace the linkage with heims that i built and through together as ends and replaced the front bearing retainer sleeve[throw out bearing also runs on the outside of this piece] and havent looked back.It did take a bunch of screwing around to fine tune but i had that problem before the swap so i cant blame the tranny!Hope this helps Mike

I used the centerforce setup as well, and tried to use the throw out bearing (N-1439)but it wouldn't fit over the retainer sleeve. used one from a '79 model w/ a three speed and thought it was good. but a few hundred miles down the road it starts singing. I mught try a new retainer sleeve. I should have replace it when I got the tranny rebuilt... but you know how it goes. plus most redneck tranny shops around here have no idea of whats going on, so no help there.. how I dread pulling that heavy transmission .. thanks
