    Good stuff, i read in a hot rod mag about the high nickles content and how it chews up machine tools, well thats really a novice speaking these blocks although they have a higher nickle content than many they are still very soft and very easily cut, heck my shackles are like 12 points harder than the 401 blocks i have in the shop

    when i took my 304 apart with 120k miles there were still honeing marks in the cyl lol

    best ever 11.669 @ 112.33 mph in 1/4 mile on 33 x 10.50 slicks and 4" lift / 7.358 @ 93.03 mph in the 1/8 mile

    WOW did it smoke the whole time, it sounds like the rings may have never seated, their is a part number for engine with rings that never seat its a abrasive compound that scratches the cylinder and allows the glazing to peel off, thats wild still with hone marks, unreal....LOL i would have done a backflip if i saw that......LOL
