    I tried that lincon locker deal when I was a kid. Good way to ruin a good differential. That mess didnt live long.

    Although the clutches do not last long, the oem L/S will not effect handeling like a true locker, but they are not hard to replace. A Powerlock in the front will give you good pulling performance without excessive interference with steering, and will not effect handeling in 2wd. Switchable locker good for slick roads, still will effect steering/handeling when activated like welded or detroit.

    What about a spool in front? Cheap and does the trick, till you break your axel shafts. Then you just build it bigger and stronger.
