    anyone here run a summit camshaft??

    i have 3 cams laying side by side and on the summit is a LARGE boss at the end of the cam, i mean sticking out .625" whats the dealio with that??

    do you have a picture of the cams? I have driven a couple of Cj with 360 and the milder of the 2 summit cams. They give great power for the amc v8. I have never noticed anything abnomal with them though. Maybe if you have a pic it will make more sense to me

    i can tell you that a crower 292 cam will not idel smooth till over 1300 rpm lol

    best ever 11.669 @ 112.33 mph in 1/4 mile on 33 x 10.50 slicks and 4" lift / 7.358 @ 93.03 mph in the 1/8 mile
