    Using a old AMC intake on your newer one.......PICTURE

    you will need to move the holes up and in, to reference this look to an intake gasket. The middle 2 holes on both sides of the gasket are slotted. Here is a R4B intake i modified to fit 71-later dogleg heads. Now it will fit all years. Kinda cool mod! You can pick up a old R4B from ebay.com for around $250-$400 they are a med rise HUGE PORT 360 degree dual port intake.....WHEW!!!

    Its relatively easy, take a intake gasket and mark the slot and drill away...LOL Really all the intake gaskets will have te slot where the center bolts run (2 on either side)
