Phoenix is not Alaska, but it works...
their was one for a 205-208? i believe,.......it really depends on what 2 case you want to put together, i can make anything anyone else makes, and usually cheaper. but like anyhting you gotta watch trademarks

well alaska heres the deal
If you run the first transfercase in low then its worth it (will it last in low and only 2wd......im not sure, bet it will though)
If you run dual T-cases and the first T-case in hi gear, it does no good (but thats how you would run it down the road)
I like your thinking though, maybe its something i could look into in the future!! I am definately interested in that setup on my J10

wouldn't the second case just be a multiplyer? could you put lower gears in the second case so you could have low, REALLY low, and REALLY, REALLY F@#KN LOW?

There is a D20-D20 doubler out there done up by the Bronco guys called the Cold Duck. In my opinion the multiplied torque is going to blow out the weak D20 tailshaft unless you dump another $400 for the 32 spline tailshaft adaptor. Then you are still left with a fairly weak front output. That may all be good for light vehicles, but on my JTruck with D60 front and C14 rear I'm doubling a 203 to 205 case.
Here's the link to the D20 Cold Duck and tailshaft conversion:

Here is an excellent link where a guy describes how he designed his own doubler, and his drawings: http://www.bc4x4.com/tech/2000/gordt...gordtcases.cfm
With my NP435 low of 6.68
the Ford NP203 low of 2.01
the GM NP205 low of 1.96
and an axle ratio of 4.88
my crawl ratio will be ~128:1 and I could have had more with the NP208 case
The Hummer crawl ratio is about what, 33:1?

I think rear driveline length would be more an issue. My '63 CJ5 only has an 81" wheel base anyway.
