Seems I have the 3.54s what do you think about those on well 31's for now and later 33's for towing? Or should I make a change to 3.90 or 4.10?

Ok cool so my thoughts were right about the 4.10's then. I run those now in my YJ with 32's and a 5 speed and they are awesome.

It's W.T. but no problem, long as I get called to supper. I seem to learn something from every post. My CJ has 3.07 gears in it now with 33 in. tires , if i put the 3.54 cherokee axles under it I think it will do what I want.

with the 3:54 you will see a diff on the road and off it will give you a little more power with 33 i think 4.11 would put you were it was with stock tires

    best ever 11.669 @ 112.33 mph in 1/4 mile on 33 x 10.50 slicks and 4" lift / 7.358 @ 93.03 mph in the 1/8 mile

I knew I was dislexic but never knew it made it upside down also LOL. I had 3.07's with 31's and hated life, I can't imagine what you are going through with 33's.

With the t176 and 300 transfer case it is not too bad but I need it just a little lower.

Tell me what to look for to tell if it is a 400 trany. I also have a 74 j10 with auto trany but not the q-trac . I am in Roxboro N.C. north of Durham

The Th-400 tranny pan looks like the State of Texas (shape).

Maybe someone could post a pic of it.
