OK, so what cc would later AMC 401 heads be? This seems to be the same chart/info I find all over the net. I am having trouble figuring out how many cc's mine is so I can figure out what type pistons to order. Don't they get larger than 58cc's?

That "Rocker style" column, some are bridged and I understand that, thats how mine are. But the "single" ones, those I need to learn something on. Do those have guides or are those heads cast with the smaller pushrod holes as guides?

    Help on New C.R. w/ 390X Heads

I just installed a set of small chamber 39 heads on my 1978 401 with stock dished pistons. I believe stock compresion to be at 8.4 to 1. The best I can calculate using on on-line calculator I should now be at about 9.5 to 1. I'm wondering if any of you smart guys would know for sure?
