    steering box

    looking for a manual steering box and mounting brackets and shaft from box to column

    and a rod from brake pedal to master cyl for manual brakes

    best ever 11.669 @ 112.33 mph in 1/4 mile on 33 x 10.50 slicks and 4" lift / 7.358 @ 93.03 mph in the 1/8 mile

    thinking power steering might be a little to senative and not enought vacum for the brakes 800 rpm 5 to 7 vac lol

    I may have a steering box and the shaft off a 70's CJ-5 I will have to check...Will this work??? I am also looking for a Powersteering box in good shape

    Hey fuzz...got a PS pump bracket that'll fit the AMC 4 cyl?

    If so...I can install my PS and send you the old box...

    Now the brake pedal rod I couldn't help with until I get my Cadillac power brakes installed on the Scrambler...but I need to modify the Caddy's old rod to do that...so I haven't moved that job up on the list of things to do...

    Fuzz will one of a early to mid 70's Cj-5 work for you? I will snap a picture tonigh. it is at a friends house and i thought i remember it loooking a little different than the one on my 7. Just let me know. I don't know how far you are from philly but my bro is going to be down there from Sunday till Tuesday if it is close enough for you to pick it up from him
