    Brake MC (not jeeps4ever MC)

I need to replace the MC on my CJ. It does not have power brakes. I have been searching around and I have found some places say to use a MC of 1968 Vette with a 1 1/8th bore. Some people have made it sound like this is a direct bolt on replacement. OThers have said that the push rod needs to be extended and some have said removing or altering the proportioning valve needs to be done. Has anyone on this board done this swap. IS it direct bolt on? IS it really worth it since it appears they are both about $30

the only real reason to run that mc is to run disk rear, if you plan on that you will need to gut or get a new proportioning valve(plan on disk rear) otherwise just get another MC........I dont run power brakes on any jeep i own, because i dont want my edelbrock to puke and leave me with bad brakes on a hill, I also ran manual steering with 38's.......wow were my arms tired
