    Intake Manifold

I have a customer looking for a stock, square bore CI intake manifold, or a used low-perfrormance aluminum manifold in good condition. He is a young kid on a shoestring budget, has a Torquer now, too much manifold for the truck, possibly trade plus???

I have had upon occasion three square bore manifolds. One was from a '72 Ambasador (sp), one was from a '74 International 401, one was from a junk pile at a scrap yard. All were non-EGR, used the rubber PCV gromet.

I think MC is refering to Jeep engines.
The AMC passenger cars (that I have seen) have all had square bore patturns.

For Jeeps, my 77' 401 was a spread bore 4bbl.
But, what I am assuming was the stock intake on my 73' J4000 P/U (P-code 360 4bbl) was square bore.

I've always assumed the spread bores came out in the mid 1970's Jeeps.
