    Swapping fuse blocks

Started preflighting the YJ for a test drive and couldn't get any exterior lights or the wipers to work. Found out why..

Yeah, has HOOVER and SHOP VAC written all over it. :( The block is going to be a big enough pain (I just got the dashboard back in), but then I gotta find out WHY that happend so I don't blow a hole in the only good one I've got! Wire checks out the butt!

Thanks maybe needed - this has the spade lug fuses in it.
I was thinking about the easy way out of swapping the whole inside-back harness to save time and wire tracing, but not sure if the not-so-Painless harness has a fuse block that bolts to the OEM side under the hood. When whatever caused this to happen, it trashed a lot of the wires between the fuse block and the bulkhead penetration. I haven't seen any burn wires under the hood, but then again it got dark and I got cold

Well see what morning brings - other than a hangover

    Isn't though.
Wish I had the right tools to pull all those frigg'n terminals out of the 2 blocks (30 or so, well, less on the 87 block ) so I can swap them. 3 teminals out of the old block in 3 hours (don't want to cut or break them, I may need'm), cold rain on the YJ (pulling the dash AGAIN to get the old harness out) and I've just about had it with make shift tools to get the job done. Know where I can get a terminal removal tool that works on the fuse block?? Thin (18-20 gage), stiffer than a body panel, 'U' shaped to fit around the connector, and big enough for leverage???

OH!! and Painless wants $350+ for a new harness. Not a good weekend for the 'Rat.
    :(
