Hello, new guy here but I thought I would see what you guys thought of my recent Jeep purchase. I run a hunting operation in Sonora Mexico and am always needing vehicles for down there. This weekend I bought a friends '79 Wagoneer. It has a 360, Dana 44's front and rear, TH400 tranny and is painted olive drab green. It has a custom rack on top and a custom adjustable tow bar and I picked it up for $1000. I think I did good but I have not looked at Wagoneers before. I also own a 1980 CJ7 with 32000 orig miles on it and while the CJ is my favorite I am excited about the "new" jeep.
Hi Drummond. I'm new also. As of about 5 minutes ago. I also have a CJ and have a waggy I'm working on right now. 1987 to be exact. Making a trail rig out of it for Baja and the easier trails around where I live. It's going to be a camper trail rig actually when it's done. I'm taking pic's as I go along and will post them when it gets done.
