just curious as to if anyone knows of a supercharger or turbo kit that is made for a 401 or can be made for a 401 without going from scratch?

thanks. is it called something else, because I was looking on autozone.com and such, and cant find it under that name.

  6. #26
Nope, that's what it's called. Problem is, you aren't going to find too many hot rod parts at Autozone. Try summitracing.com instead. You'll find plenty of them there. ..Unless you mean manifolds, rather than headers, then you'd be looking for an exhaust flange gasket.

nah the exhaust flange gasket isnt shaped right. the piece I am looking for is shaped like a triangle almost with a hole at each corner.

So how serious are you about making that javlin move?
I, with some help from my brother, built a 401 to about 475hp, that is according to desktop dyno, so it is just a rough estimate. We built it to this with only about $2000, not including the many hours that i spent on it, but that doesnt count becase it was fun.
