Just thought I'd mention that the shifter motor will swap '82 to mid '86 with selectrac and vacuum front axle. Wide Track and J truck axles are the same width in front, but not rear. Narrow track front axles don't need fender flares, but bolt up the same in front as the others. There are 3 different width (and different spring mount) rear axles from '80 to '83.
NP219 "quadratrac" '80 to mid '82 rigs have no vacuum front axle (not originally anyways) and NP208 "Commandtrac" rigs ('80 to '8 came with locking hubs and no vacuum axle (again, not originally anyways).
'83 was the last year of the Widetrack, 2 dr fullsize Cherokees.
