    14 bolt 5:13 gears
    401 needs rebuild

44 front needs ring and pinion

I am debating on going with a auto or not..........I would have to move the rear far back if i did or run a radiator in the back

I like the radiator in the back idea, but then again, you are up there in the figid region of the country where you can't always go without a top. Shooo, a 14bolt in a DJ, that thing weighs as much as the jeep alone!

OK MC, I just had an old shooting partner of mine confess to having a DJ. What's going on with YOUR build? I was going to tell him about it, but the last post was .. wait let me look it up .... April of LAST YEAR!!!!

He's looking for a CJ5 to put a plow on this winter since his DJ is just 2WD. Likes the open top in the summer, needs some HP to push a snow plow down the driveway and the cab to keep himself above freezing

Well send some pics out of what your chassis looks like - thats the set up going under my CJ Once I can get some time to work on it and find the tranny.
I've pointed Kaarlo here and to the CJ5 forum since he still wants a 5.

The DJ was a "dispatcher Jeep". Your common little mail carrier Jeep.
