    XJ idle question...

Ok, so I've got a 87 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0L Auto.

The idle would slowly creep up, so I replaced the Throttle Position Sensor. When I restarted it, it shot straight to 3000 RPM. If I remember correctly, this is too high for the choke. Could there be a vacuum hose off some where??

    Thanks in Advance!!

That's what I thought, just wanted some more input.

It got too cold, and too late to do anymore.

Also with it being an 87 check for cracked hoses. They may look ok but be cracked right along the ribs. I did that on a few lines when changing the carb on my 4.2 when I had the 4.2 in there.
