do you guys pull the pan when replacing the timing cover..

    i am assuming so..

i pulled my cover and i am assuming when you re-install it is best to pull the pan and do a pan gasket too. ,. (my motor has never been fired since rebuild and i had a cover problem so i had to pull it )

just checking cause i am lazy right now.

i need to find the energy because i hate leaks!

You can drop the gasket down 1/4 and install the side gasket nubs into the bottom seal on the timing cover and have success that way. Or you could squeeze in a ton of silicone and put the timing cover in from the top down.
