    GM 9.5 LSD

does anybody know of a way to tighten up the stock limited slip differential in a 2000 GM 9.5" 14 bolt. I can't seem to find any info anywhere and I can only find two places that can get the clutch parts. Any help would be great.

It's like most clutch-type LSDs. They usually wear to a point that they are useless in about 20-30K miles.

No way to tighten them up, you need to replace the clutches. I think the 2000 axles are by AAM (American Axle Manufacturers). You can probably only get parts from them, or the dealer.

My 2003 2500HD has the 11.5" AAM axle. I'm waiting for someone to make an affordable locker for it. I think the only one right now is Eaton, and they're big $$$$.
