is there a drain plug on the dana 300 or do you have to drop the plate on the side of the transfer case...the fill plug is obvious i just dont see a drain plug.....

Yes it is on the bottom of the T case. There should be an access hole in the skid plate and an hex key or allan head wrench will fit.

a little late but i had to drill a hole in my skid plate to get to the plug of the 300 in my cj5 FYI
