    TorqueFlite to 343

What's involved in putting an AMC torqueflite (727 or 904) behind a 343 or 390? The bell housing bolt pattern should work, but what about the converter to crank? Does the crank need to be machined or can a simple bushing be installed in it?

    Thanks,

    Darren

The crank needs to be machined, The centering hole for the converter isn't big enough. Somebody makes an adapter flange and bellhousing spacer kit to do it without machining.
