401 in a YJ - Electric Fan CFMs

Ive got a 401 in my YJ, Ive got a 3 core Brass Radiator and now its time to buy an electric fan. I couldnt find online what how much the stock fans put out in the j series or wagoneers, so I've got nothing to go off of. Any ideas how big I should buy?

1800-2200CFM is what you should use with that style radiator and engine bay. Check Ebay for deals

We put a Ford Taurus fan on our CJ-7 when we put the 401 in it. It works great, but it's a little dangerous. When it kicks on, you better not be too close to the guy in front of you, because it's like hitting the NOS, or afterburners, or something. Lifts the front wheels off the ground too and makes it hard to steer. Sucked a fart can right off a ricer at a red light the other day when it came on. Good thing the grille was strong or we'd be buying a new radiator.

Hey Linz, didn't even know you joined over here. Did you ever get a fan for that rig yet?

10 bucks or less at a junkyard, and you can find up to a semi truck size beast/ and save a ton of money
