    304 or 360

hey everyone been gone for a while, work, work. my freind who has a boatload of jeep parts at his house. axle's, motors, etc, i also scoreed another cj7 from a freind who started the project, then was un able to finish it. so i saw the guy at the drags last night, with all the jeep stuff, he said he's cleaning up his yard. what should i take, he said he has 304 and 360 that i can have, it's like a free shopping spree. now i wish i could take it all, but since the finish of the cj5, iv'e scored a 96 xj, and a 79 cj7. needless to the wife ain't happy, she does see all the looks i get in my 5, she accualy said maybe you should build jeeps and sell them..... just not at our house, ha ha. the free 7 is just the tub and fender's and frame..... thanks in advance

AMC used the same heads on the 360 and 401. Direct bolt on.

The 360 has a lot more potential than the 304. They do share the same crank/rods though, so I'd grab the 304 for spares.
