    shipping a block

    anyone know the weight or had any dealings with shipping of a AMC V8 cast Iron block. Whats it cost?

    I have shipped a 401 shortblock on Amtrack before...pretty cheap. It was from Virginia to Georgia for $70.00. That has been a couple of years though.
