My tilt column doesn't lock into position anymore...does any one have a source for rebuild parts? Good source for rebuilt columns?
1982 J10 w/automatic trans & cruise control.
Thanks!

The column is GM/Saginaw. Parts are available at any GM dealer. Source parts for a similar year GM car/truck.

Thanks!
I also found a deal on a column at the local yard, but it's on a 75 Wagoneer... any chance this will bolt into an 82 J10 without trouble?

As long as they're both stick or manual the only other difference would possibly be the wiring, check to see if color codes match on the connectors.
The 82 doesn't have wiper control on the turn signals does it?

They are both auto, both with turn signal/cruise control lever. Looking at the shop manual & Chiltons, it is looking like 77 and later are the same, not clear that the 75 would work.
