I believe the ones MC sells here are made by CVR. I have one on my CJ and one on my AMX. Both going on 3 years with no problems.

how well do they handle extended cranking and cold weather starting with thick oil? My jeep tends to not want to start too easily after it sits for a few hours after romping in the snow for a while.
I have a Mean Green. Not cheap, but she'll turn just about anything over.
No we dont sell the CVR ones. We sell the original mini starter and it is made by IMI which owns the patents for mini starters. In fact you can still reach old Jack there and he will be more than glad to talk to you about starter histories.
