oil pump bypass cap (Found one)

I need the cap that holds the plunger and spring combo in the side of the oil filter adapter, If it means I have to purchase the whole filter adapter, so be it...Just be gentle $$$

This is for an AMC V8.

Edit: Found one! Thanks for looking

Where'd your original go? I might have one more (I already sent 2 to JerseyJoe). I'll check - PM me with your snail mail info.

THANKS AGAIN BOB! I have not idea where these little bastards go. I also lost my plunger and red spring and MC saved my ass on that one.

Bob I am thinking of a creative way to repay you. Hang tight and watch the mail..

Somehow over the last year and a half, the filter adapter disapeared. Im going through a divorce and most of my belongings were scattered to the wind...Im lucky I have the parts for the Jeep I still do (It's been torn apart since '07)

MC was able to round up a new adapter for me, but the plunger cap was missing.

I was able to locate one here locally though. Thanks for the reply Bob, and hang on to the cap(s) you have, they could be worth a fortune some day.
