    Exhaust Pipe Diameter question

    Facts:
360 V8; 4bbl holly 650 dbl pumper fitted to a CJ8 for the frame length.

    Question:
What is the largest diameter exhaust pipe I can run on this gas engine w/out hurting performance & keeping proper back pressure?

    Thanks,

i think with a setup like that, 2.25-2.5" dual exhaust or 3" single
I was running dual 2.5 and witha similiar set up, and it ran great

Mine's 2.5" into 3.5" single with a 94-97 powerstroke muffler. Seems to work fine. And the 3.5" turn down at the back looks pretty mean. No lack of bottom end, in fact, about all it has is bottom end with the stock cam.
