Thanks for inviting me! Actually I have worked for Hypertherm in various capacities for over 32 years, and while I am employed there, I monitor this and about a dozen other sites that are involved with plasma cutting. I am not on this (or any other sites) to sell Hypertherm products specifically, however I am very familiar with the entire hand and mechanized product lines, and can help out with any questions or issues with cut quality, etc. That being said, I am also very familiar with many other brands of plasma cutting equipment, and would be more than happy to help you sort out issues with non hypertherm brands (to the best of my ability) as well!
I have a home metal fab shop, with a variety of plasma, welding, metal fabricating equipment as well as a 4 x 4 cnc machine. My shop is a hobby shop....as I only do enough paid work to make it self supporting! Any income in my shop goes directly into buying new tools and equipment....when I retire someday I'll have a nice shop with plenty (hopefully) of time to play, er, I mean work with metal.
Best regards, Jim Colt |

Awesome!
I had considered starting a thread with links to Mr. Colt's 'best posts' as I always found his information to be the definitive answer when he gets going on a topic. |
